To be absolutely clear: a "karmic relationship" is absolutely NOT synonymous with a "bad relationship". This is the biggest misconception I come across. From the lens of astrological beliefs, karmic relationship astrology refers to those connections that feel like fate, like you were totally supposed to meet each other; they are relationships with intense emotions, immense lessons, and carrying patterns of unresolved matters of past lives and/or soul's journey. How will you know it is a karmic relationship?

When your respective birth charts show major planetary alignments/aspects, they create "debt karma". Not debt, the financial term; the debt in the soul of karmic origin indicates unfinished business which seems to have gotten the attention of your souls, and the time to clear them seems to have arrived now through the meeting and relationship between the two. Sign #1: Intense Familiarity Mixed With Confusion

Probably the most intense experience about a karmic relationship is sensing that familiar paradoxical paradox that often leaves us confused:

"I think I have known this person forever and still I do not understand him at all". While conducting a love psychic reading, I often encounter this same occurrence. Someone will begin telling the story of meeting a person and experiencing an overwhelming feeling of deep recognition but with an increase in the relationship, the person began to understand little of it. This happens when the two birth charts share what is termed in astrological terms, "fated aspects", of either the lunar nodes or weighty Saturn placements.

Birth charts usually consist of two different parts: A North Node which represents where the soul needs to be growing towards in this lifetime. So, imagine a person where a heavy aspect plays to your soul, will automatically generate feelings that say; "I know him as I remember being with you in eternity", but here the point to ponder upon is this acknowledgment does not come with a user manual of how to actually deal with it. They force us outside familiar comfort zones, releasing old patterns, moving ever toward a greater version of self. This is not obsession; this is your Higher Self aware that there is genuine unfinished business.
